• Tallicin® K-14

Tallicin® K-14 is a polymeric dispersant with multiple anchor groups that can be used to disperse inorganic and organic pigments in a variety of systems such as solvent-based coatings. When properly formulated, Tallicin® K-14 improves pigment wetting, color development, and stability of the dispersion. It allows the formulator to reduce the viscosity or increase the pigment loading in the mill base, thus improving both efficiency and cost of production. Tallicin® K-14 acts to deflocculate pigments through steric hindrance, helping to reduce flooding and floating. In many formulations, this results in improvements in gloss and color strength, as well as a reduction of viscosity, .

  • Tallicin® K-24

Tallicin® K-32 is a 100% polymeric dispersant that is soluble in monomers and oligomers used in the preparation of UV cured coatings and inks, allowing the formulator to optimize color acceptance, color development and color stability. Tallicin® K-32 achieves lower viscosity or higher pigment loadings, or both, and improves stability of the monomer or monomer/oligomer millbase. The pigment-affinic functionality of Tallicin® K-32 helps to produce a narrow particle size distribution for both organic and inorganic pigments with desired effects of transparency or opacity.

  • Tallicin® KO

Tallicin® KO is designed to disperse hydrophobic pigments into a low-viscosity paste for incorporation into either oil or water-based systems. KO is compatible with a wide variety of pigments and solvent-based vehicles. When used in a water-based system in conjunction with relatively hydrophilic surfactants, Tallicin® KO imparts good color acceptance and development with high oil- absorbing pigments.

  • Tallicin® 1314

Tallicin® 1314 overcomes many of the problems associated with poor pigment dispersion, including flooding, flocculation, color drift, floating, loss of hiding, puffiness and livering. When properly formulated, the product improves gloss and gloss retention. In most applications, Tallicin® 1314 provides better pigment wetting and dispersion than soya lecithin.

  • Tallicin® 1505

Tallicin® 1505 is an effective wetting and dispersing agent for both organic and inorganic pigments. Tallicin® 1505 will optimize the dispersion of such difficult to disperse pigments as carbon black, phthalo blue and iron oxide through it's well balanced surface active functionality. Tallicin® 1505 can also be used as a post-add to provide exceptionally good flow, leveling and gloss characteristics in alkyds and linseed oil based coatings.
