Flow & Leveling Additives
Teraflow® 1000
Teraflow® 1000 is a high-performance flow and leveling modifier for a wide variety of solvent-based and high-solids coatings systems, including urethanes, alkyds, acrylics, melamine-formaldehyde, nitrocellulose, polyvinyl butyral, urea-formaldehyde, phenolic, polyesters and epoxies. When used properly, Teraflow® 1000 offers outstanding flow and leveling, reducing surface defects such as craters, pinholes, fisheyes and orange peel. It offers bubble release qualities and contributes to pigment dispersion and color development.
Teraflow® 5300
Teraflow® 5300 is a polysiloxane copolymer used to increase slip and mar resistance of solvent based coatings. At extremely low levels of addition, Teraflow® 5300 produces a coating with a smooth film surface that is resistant to scratches and abrasions. It also improves flow and leveling, contributes to gloss and resists cratering and orange peel.
Teraflow® 5301
Teraflow® 5301 is designed to impart mar resistance and slip to water-based trade paints and industrial coatings. Teraflow® 5301 provides a smooth surface to the coating film and helps the film to resist scratches and abrasion. It minimizes orange peel, fisheyes and craters. When properly formulated, Teraflow® 5301 helps reduce blocking problems in can, coil and hardboard coatings.
