Ewing, NJ – Pflaumer Brothers announces the introduction of TERAMINE® 392, a modified cycloaliphatic amine hardener engineered for high-solids, fast-cure epoxy coating systems. Designed for use with bisphenol A and bisphenol F epoxy resins, TERAMINE® 392 provides formulators with an attractive combination of low viscosity, fast cure response, excellent color stability, and long-term performance.
Developed for demanding commercial and industrial coating applications, TERAMINE® 392 offers a viscosity of less than 80 cps, enabling exceptional flow, leveling, and ease of application. The product can be applied using conventional spray, roller, or brush methods, making it a versatile solution for flooring, maintenance, and protective coating formulations.
“As coating technologies continue to evolve, customers are looking for products that simplify formulation while delivering outstanding performance,” said Brian Morris, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Pflaumer Brothers. “TERAMINE® 392 provides formulators with a versatile epoxy curing solution that combines low viscosity, excellent aesthetics, strong chemical resistance, and dependable curing performance across a wide range of applications.”
Epoxy coatings formulated with TERAMINE® 392 provide high gloss, low color, and excellent overall appearance while maintaining strong toughness at both ambient and low temperatures. The product also demonstrates excellent resistance to carbamation on concrete substrates, making it an ideal choice for commercial and industrial floor coating systems.
Beyond flooring applications, TERAMINE® 392 is designed for use in pipe, tank, container, concrete repair, and sealer applications where chemical resistance and durable film performance are required. The product’s compatibility with epoxy resins, modified with both reactive and non-reactive diluents, provides formulators with additional flexibility in product development.
TERAMINE® 392 also supports the development of high-solids and solvent-free coatings, helping manufacturers formulate products that meet performance requirements while reducing solvent content. The product can be formulated at a 2:1 volume ratio with bisphenol A epoxy resins, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional epoxy coating technologies without compromising application properties or finished coating performance.
