Pflaumer Brothers Introduces TERAMINE® 914SF, a Super-Fast Modified Aliphatic Amine Hardener for Epoxy Systems for Electronics and Encapsulation
Ewing, NJ – Pflaumer Brothers announces the introduction of TERAMINE® 914SF, a super-fast modified aliphatic amine curing agent designed for use with bisphenol A and bisphenol F epoxy resins. Engineered for epoxy systems requiring rapid cure speed, excellent adhesion, and strong mechanical properties, TERAMINE® 914SF gives formulators a reliable hardener platform for demanding professional and industrial applications.
Developed for applications where fast processing and dependable performance are critical, TERAMINE® 914SF is designed to cure at ambient temperatures and offers a gel time of approximately 8 minutes at 25°C. This rapid setting profile makes it especially well-suited for epoxy systems where speed, consistency, and reliable handling are important.
TERAMINE® 914SF is intended for use at a 2:1 ratio with bisphenol A and bisphenol F epoxy resins. Its quick-setting properties make it an ideal choice for applications that require rapid yet reliable results, including electronics, potting, and encapsulation. It can also be used as a general-purpose adhesive in structural applications.
In addition to its super-fast setting speed, TERAMINE® 914SF provides excellent adhesion, rapid hardness development, low viscosity, low color, and strong mechanical performance. These properties give formulators the flexibility to develop fast-setting epoxy systems for applications where productivity, bonding performance, and durability are key requirements.
TERAMINE® 914SF is formulated without nonyl phenol or benzyl alcohol, supporting professional applications where formulators are seeking alternatives to these components. With a suggested use level of 50 phr with standard bisphenol A epoxy resins, TERAMINE® 914SF provides a practical and efficient option for fast-setting epoxy formulation development.
