May 14, 2025 – Atlantic City, NJ
Pflaumer Brothers, a long-standing innovator in specialty chemical manufacturing, was proud to once again sponsor the Technical Papers Program at the 2025 Eastern Coatings Show (ECS)—the largest regional coatings event in North America.
As part of this sponsorship, Pflaumer presented the Pflaumer Honors for Innovation Awards, now in their tenth year, which recognize outstanding technical contributions that push the boundaries of coatings science. The awards honor individuals who ask the critical question, “Can we make this better?” and then go out and prove it.
“We’re proud to support the ECS and recognize technical excellence through the Pflaumer Innovation Awards,” said Harley McNair, President of Pflaumer Brothers. “Innovation drives our industry forward, and these awards celebrate the people behind that progress.”
Pflaumer contributed a $5,000 honorarium to support the awards, with $3,000 awarded for the Most Outstanding Paper and $2,000 for the Outstanding Paper. This year, over 50 technical papers were submitted, with 42 selected for presentation, highlighting the very best in coatings research and application.
